Cancellation & Payments policy.

Places on our trainings are limited, and significant preparation begins well in advance. For this reason, the following cancellation and payment policy applies to all bookings for teacher trainings and further education modules, both online, in-person in Ireland, and in-person abroad.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is usually required to secure your place on any training or course. Your place is confirmed only once the deposit has been received. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Participant Cancellations

  • More than 110 days before the training start date

Payments made will be refunded in full, minus the non-refundable deposit and any bank or transaction charges incurred.

  • Between 110 days and 90 days before the training start date

50% of the total training fee will be refunded.

  • 90 days or less before the training start date

No refunds are available and the full training fee remains payable.

This policy applies regardless of personal circumstances, including illness, injury, travel disruption, or other unforeseen events.

If there is a waiting list, and a participant’s place can be filled from this waiting list, a partial refund may be offered at the discretion of the host.

Transfers

In the case of non-refunds, depending on circumstances, and at the discretion of the host, a transfer of funds made toward a future training may be offered. This is not guaranteed and is decided on a case-by-case basis.

Payment Plans

Payment plans, often individually tailored, are offered as a convenience to allow participants to spread the cost of a training over time.

By enrolling in a payment plan, participants agree to pay the full training fee according to the agreed payment schedule. A payment plan does not alter the cancellation policy, and the full training fee remains payable regardless of attendance or participation.

If a participant withdraws from the training, fails to attend, or chooses to discontinue participation, any remaining payments under the payment plan will still be due.

Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in removal from the training and/or certification process until the outstanding balance has been paid in full.

All payments must be completed in full before official registration or certificates are issued.

No-Shows & Early Departure

Participants who fail to attend or who leave a training early are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.

Cancellation by the Host

In the unlikely event that a training should be cancelled or postponed by the host, participants will be offered either:

  • a full refund of payments made

  • the option to transfer to a future training

The organiser is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other related expenses incurred.

Agreement to Terms

By registering for a training, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation and payment policy.

Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate travel or cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
